Alaje weighs in on the fuel crisis in Nigeria

 

 

Paul Alaje an economics analyst on his twitter page analysed the current fuel crisis in Nigeria. According to Alaje, "Fuel Prices per litre (the other market) Sokoto: N2,000 Abuja: N1,300 Lagos N800 Someone is still saying naira is discovering itself. Another person claims there is scarcity because the fuel price is expected to go down. Well I didn't blame him. How can there be scarcity due to low price expectations. This claim has no economic sense in it. There is scarcity and queue at the filling stations when there is an expectation of increase in price or shortage in supply."
