NIGERIA BEAT 11 TIME CHAMPIONS TO REACH WOMEN'S AFRO BASKET BALL FINAL

The Nigeria National Women’s Basketball Team, D’Tigress on Friday night defeated 11 times Champions Senegal by 73-63 points in the ongoing 25th edition of the FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Championship currently holding in Yaoundé, Cameroon.

The Nigerians won the first quarter till the 3rd quarter, but lost narrowly in the fourth quarter, the wins from the first three quarters were enough to book a place in the Championship final.
