Suspected armed robbers burnt to death in Akwa Ibom State
Two suspected armed robbers were on Wednesday, 3 January, 2018, burnt to death in Obong Itam, after shooting one Jones Akpan before dispossessing him of his cash and other valuables.
According to Brainnews Radio, an alarm raised by the victim, immediately after the incident, attracted youths who had been keeping vigil due to incessant attacks in the community.
The youths mobilized and gave the suspects a hot chase. They were caught, beaten to a pulp and set ablaze.
